But starting from Igla, most characters are just useless unless they're at least at Tina's level or above.In fact, it feels like the reason we haven't seen Tina that much lately is precisely because they don't want her to get bodied too often. They pulled her out to demonstrate that Ateraxis is the new standard though, which means that 99% of our roster is dead weight. Then Alter Groza returns and offscreens the entire Elmo, and she was holding back.They're writing themselves into a corner. During the next 6 months, we'll ask ourselves "why didn't they just send Ateraxis?" and get fed silly excuses every single time. Or, she'll show up and helpfully decide not to murder everyone. Such stakes, much wow.

Isn't it sort of ridiculous how weak Darture is for a 3rd gen? I think literally her ONLY win in the entire story was against normal Glowza in the intro sequence. Glowza was out of ammo, on hostile territory, all alone and in a second-gen frame, already damaged from earlier fights. Plus, Darture had backup in the form of flying gunships and soldiers. Next, she's beaten by the OG Elmo crew, the definition of a ragtag group of misfits. And since then it's just been jobbing over and over. One of the only times she killed someone was that blonde dude on the plane, and he was just a defenseless businessman.
