I don't think it's inherently a bad idea to run back through ch1 to showcase the development of the main cast.The problem is, that didn't happen. Rather, Susie and Ralsei just read as wholesale new characters. Susie is rebirthed as "Noelle's girlfriend" and Ralsei is rebirthed as "agitated freak". It's not a clean read of any growth because they're both reacting to sudden new stimuli that's now dominating their personality (Noelle committing to Susie, and Flowery arriving).
