At least chinese gacha like ZZZ and GFL2 have the foresight to buff/rework older teams to make them viable. But Project Moon? They'd rather cater to a niche elitist audience seeking to flagellate themselves with unfairness and powercreep. Some players just wanted to enjoy the story ffs. Because let’s be real for a moment, the story is the only thing keeping this whole game afloat. Otherwise, it's nothing more than a trashy flash game wrapped around a glorified coin-flip simulator. If this is the obnoxious gameplay direction Project Moon is going with; overtuned bosses, D&D roll or die skills, endless powercreep, attack weight spam, and pure time-wasting artificial difficulty, then it might be time to uninstall.And what's equally frustrating is that project moon has a cult of toxic positivity who sees nothing wrong with all this and demands that no nerfs be implemented after they announced that difficulty adjustment survey. Something I never understood about Lobcorp was Agent stat progression. Your nuggets start off as unaugmented dudes picked off the street and over the course of a few weeks grow to have the stats of mid to high grade fixers. Even if L Corp's EGO gear is doing the fighting for them, their speed and HP are still going up. Did the main facility have a bunch of augments in storage to upgrade the nuggets between workdays? I am thoroughly satisfied with this chapter, Meursault was one of the sinner's I was most anticipating.I'm feeling just such a great sense of comfort in how this all ended. The more I think of it, the more I enjoy the themes and presentation.It's a new sensation for me, to be so thoroughly 'full', to have so much to chew on without any bitter taste permeating. It was nothing that I had expected it to be, but it smashed my expectations out the water with a beautiful and sincere plot. This is going right up there with Canto VI, new favorite or 2nd place.
