I heavily recommend it. Honestly even if you don't vibe with the gameplay it's still a really unique package that's worth experiencing. I'd also recommend not turning on assist mode but I can understand how it might be a turn off to have to do a bunch of puzzles/slight amount of grinding when some of the later encounters end up filtering you.

I looked through 3~ of my favorite passages from Saihate no Ima, they were all translated well. I don't care about looking for minor issues where it may have slipped up. That's kind of my problem. Spending so much time looking at MTL scripts and finding no issues is discouraging me from looking any further.

This is probably my favorite passage. I would have translated it a little differently. In the third line, "had whatever they had nurtured" uses two "hads" in a row and thus is inelegant. In the sixth line, I would have combined the two final sentences like so: "People worshipped love, extolled by the world, far too unconditionally." But that is pretty serious nitpicking.
