In terms of actual narrative relevance only Theodora's route is tied to the main overarching plot of the game whereas the other 3 are there to flesh out the world and Leda's is no exception. Her route is the only one that sheds light on the Cydonia massacre, the Duscur equivalent from Three Houses, and gives context to the geopolitical and conspiratorial details of the current story. It's also the only route you even confront the Order of Mithras directly, which is the main force scheming to bring Dagda back in Acts 2 and 3. And in terms of personal narrative I really see no other way her story could have ended except forgiveness. The entire story builds on the themes of, "Revenge is le bad?" and shows how it is incredibly self-destructive and will result in her death. Literally her entire supporting cast tell her multiple times how it will not bring her peace in different ways (except for Mu who's just there to be lesbians) and even Leda admits she'll probably keep murdering after she gets Bertrand until she dies. However after learning that her father's soul is trapped by Balor and that Father Mahdel spent his entire life motivated by revenge only to have nothing to show for it, her decision to spare Bertrand makes perfect sense in context. She directs her rage into something more positive and that is saving her father, exploring the world as her ancestor once did, and exposing the remaining conspirators behind the Cydonia Massacre.Thanks for reading my blog.

Characters can have some stupid moments but for the most part I found them likeable (especially Dohalim, that's my boy).After you beat the last Renan lord the game quickly starts to show how rushed it is. The plot goes way too fast at that point and the game as a whole has a problem with reusing enemy models but it gets ridiculous in the last act.The DLC expansion is just an extention of these issues. The main character of the expansion was clearly meant to be playable but she just...isn't, because they rushed the DLC out and most of it is just more NPC fetch quests with a barebones story. I wouldnt recommend getting the expansion at all. Just watch the story for it on YT and save yourself $20.
