I say this as someone who played single player on a keyboard before an arcade stick and whose training mode execution is not that different between any kind of input device but I just don't get how people wrap their head around having to manually release directions when it comes to neutral and defending on keyboard and leverless. It's not like an FPS where you don't hold left while you aren't moving, the mechanics of hold back to block and charging make things totally different and finding myself holding down and both directions at once totally unconsciously or jumping straight up because I never thought "stop holding back on 1P' was a prerequisite to doing something else, it just naturally stops happening. If I'm not doing that then I just do a -2 move and get kicked in the shins because I never started blocking.Other than overshooting DPs into supers 95% of input mistakes are just mistiming between left and right hands for me anyways so it doesn't fucking matter what the fuck I use to do motions, I'm still getting wakeup sweep and wakeup EX mystery move and doing an overhead when didn't want it.
