The emotional core of the scene is helplessness. The translation turned it into a fortune teller's monologue. Even the "I translate feelings, not words" crowd can't defend that, because the feeling got swapped out at the border.Line 9 even argues with itself. The first sentence says an uneventful day "was never very likely," which means it was never really on the table. The second says that era "has already passed me by," which means it used to be. Which is it?! The JP settles the fight with one もう. Those days were possible once. They're gone now.The fallout reaches #12 too. That trailing も makes #11 and #12 a matched pair of I-don't-knows. The translator killed the first one. #12 lost its partner and got rebuilt as "time could regress at any time." Time doesn't regress, by the way. Tumors regress. Time rewinds.#6 is a legit miss as well. そんな時間 points straight back at #5, meaning the time to redo all that legwork. "Is my time up?" cuts that cord and turns "Can I get this done in time?" into "Am I done for?" The fix is as simple as "Do I even have that kind of time left?"

The original writer's work was changed without the original writer's input - that's generally not a good sign.Most of the Japanese text is unchanged from the original version, so it’s a good alternative for someone like me who can’t stomach the original game’s art.I might port the Sol-translated script to the original game for the matching lines and retranslate the ones that differ, but it’s low on my priority list.
