Describe the distortion. Mine has a very slight amount of distortion where looking at a perfectly straight line and moving my head causes it to bend like a wave just a tiny bit instead of moving perfectly proportionally to how much I move my head, but unless you're looking for it specifically, I stopped noticing it like 30 minutes into use. Tried ergo kit hand straps today

I was not a retard and put them in the lower hole because I have normal sized adult bloke hands. Sticks and Buttons are comfortable to reach except the start/select buttons which can use hand shenanigans to stretch up there.

I'm coming from what I think are offical handstraps for the quest 2. They are stretchy with a rough striated fabric.

So what I actually don't like is the frame strap design itself. It's only a barely stretchy silicone with the facial interface fabric being the main contact surface. Because that's pretty smooth, you have to get them tight to give the same grip as my quest straps. And they leave red marks on your hands anyway. The contact is more comfortable but the lack of elasticity is less comfortable. Also getting my hands in the exact right location is finnicky, I have to grab the bottom of the hand strap and pull it in the exact right place to get the handhold I want, at least it stays there once I'm in. Other than that my fingers are just slightly misaligned with the grip buttons but still very useable. I think if valve just went with elastic fabric the difficulty would disappear. Not sure how grippy the fabric itself needs to be after that.

Also, on my quest I can tighten my fabric straps all the way and pretty comfortably use the controller without my hands through the straps. But with the frame straps once the straps are on, you have to get your hands in them so more casual pick up and put down is out.

It turns off, but it will always boot to being stuck on the logo. I was using it fine this morning, and I only turned the display off before I went to work. Tried turning the display back on and it wouldn't; I thought maybe the battery died somehow, so I plugged the charger in for about fifteen minutes. Yes, obviously MAC spoofing is possible, but unless that functionality is already built in to the headset it won't update so it won't be added. And if you're using unifi, it'll be really obvious if the headset does MAC spoof - it'll have multiple entries. MAC spoofing is a default for phones now because everyone connects them to all sorts of public networks, so it's too easy to make them trackable. I doubt that's something zucc worried about for VR headsets.

Changing advanced setting in configuration of the interface which restart it would fix the issue for a while. Leddit thinks it is a unfixable windows 10 issue.
