I decided to go down the pornhwa rabbit hole this past month and honestly I think jerking off to aislop is far more dignified. One interesting thing I’ve noticed is just how much the authors hate the opposite sex. When japs write an edgy story about a girl being abused and corrupted, they usually frame her as a victim worthy of sympathy. When koreans do the same, my only thought is "damn, that bitch deserved it" as I watch the unceremoniously bleak ending they wrote for her. Anime girls are certainly more idealized and pristine, but even if they have a generic stock personality, at least they have one. Literally all pornhwa girls have the exact same body and not a single thought in their heads beyond getting fucked.Virgin heroines are still popular, though less common. The funny thing is, they’re usually office ladies or college students who go to class in plunging necklines and dolphin shorts, lacking the quirky personalities of anime girls that make their purity feel somewhat believable. I believe censorship rules prevent them from depicting highschool heroines. It's even more surprising given they have no problem letting virgin girls get manhandled by other men. The Japanese do that too, but in pornhwa it feels much more common and goes a lot further. It's normal to see the main heroine enjoying sex with other men in non-NTR stories.I’ve only read one yuri title, so I can't generalize, but it’s curious how all the men are portrayed as irredeemable assholes. There isn't a single one who isn't a violent potential rapist. I’ve only read two series aimed at women, and that’s the only place you’ll find a different body type. In both, the female protagonist sleeps with another man, and the male leads are far more emasculated and emotional compared to the stoic japanese rapechad. In one there’s a random scene where a male character is stripped naked and forced to walk around the university campus wearing a "I must not objectify women" sign.
