That is purely an error on the voice directors part.And I may as well get ahead of this now since these it seems these patches are going to get nitpicked to hell (which is fine, whatever). There is a very specific line in the second game where they change the faction of a specific character for one line of text (they had even said his correct faction a few lines before it) that makes no sense whatsoever and the character is not once ever mentioned as apart of that faction in either game at any other point and when you see it you'll understand how bad of a story error ages made there. I spent a lot of time deciding to either give him the correct faction for the line and abandon the script and voiced line or follow the script accurately. I opted for following the script and making an in game translator note showing the Japanese text for the line and that it did in fact say the wrong faction for the one line.
