As someone who beat all the bosses before the nerf and on first try, Buffet wasn't that bad. Annoying sure, but so long as you paid attention to his mechanics and perservered, he was beatable. Chaplain on the other hand is a fucker and is the one that should've been nerfed. Faust failed me one time while she was dominating, and it nearly bricked my entire run. Even after using continues and and using as many EGOs as I could, the fight was too long and far more annoying and frustrating than Phillip's LoR fight ever was. Marie almost felt like an apology with how easy it was to take her down.

Buffet was just not good because chaining several different aoe attacks on sinners was just kinda bullshit because they could trigger even more attacks.
