Just learned Toby Fox patched aborted weird route at some point so that instead of Noelle's regular "disappointed" sprite making it look like she's strongly emotionally disconnected from the date, they edited her 'being cradled' sprite and just made her look more sad in it. I really hate him for not having this shit 100% figured out by the fucking release date. This materially changes how the scene might be interpreted. In the release version her dissatisfaction with the state of affairs feels much more pronounced. In the current version it's more like she's happy to be with Susie but just has some vague feeling of melancholy she can't put her finger on. Basically this version feels less like Noelle is actively aware of what just happened, IE maybe she's not 'awakened' anymore and aborted 6 will just play identically (as one probably always should've expected).Again, how could he not have the decisions for this stuff 100% finalized? I do not fucking get it. It's one sprite in this scene. This is at least the second time something like this has happened with the super important secret route. I talked myself into defending/forgiving him in ch4 but now that I learned about this it feels fucking haphazard and careless. I just can't believe it.
