I just don't get what Penance is for now, it was the only good healing spell Discipline had, now it's worse than both Heal and Flash Heal. Are they planning on adding the ability to move while casting it later? That's the only way I can see it being worth the talent point.

To anyone saying healers dont carry parties is full of shit. I healed worst-case scenarios in every dungeon up to the new one so far and just going back to DM as dps and seeing the absolute state of healers makes me wonder if a good healer is the most important thing in a party. Maybe i should roll a resto shaman and just be everybodies darling from 1 to 60.

Im not playing the beta as i dont want to either burn out or "burn my bridges" with my girl before the game comes out, as i need to pick my battles. Regardless of that, i've been following everything closely and one theme i've seen is that casters dont feel great becaus of base damage + spell power on gear while leveling.Im planning to go Balance, and it seems it has been terrible so far while leveling. Today i opened Wowhead and saw that not only Balance got wrath nerfed after it had been buffed, but almost all other casters are getting the short end of the stick.It felt like leveling was gonna be a pain for Balances especially because balance has no wand, and they want wrath to feel like a wand, but wrath costs mana and has a cast time so it needs to be stronger than wanding. I cant just run and jump, and cast wrath once and move and it will shoot, like it happens on a wand.Anyone on the beta can who leveled recently to 30, WITHOUT BEING FULL BIS FROM 20 can let us know how your experience was while going form 20 to 30 without full dungeon gear?Did it suck? How comfortable was it?
