I really like that series where an advanced AI named Sigma decides mankind must be purged, and after spreading itself all over the globe by multiplicating itself in search of the ideal battle body. Since they're outclassed, the main heroic robot ends up getting enhancement parts for its main body, including arm parts and leg parts, and after they tap into his limitless potential, the heroes finally manage to put Sigma down for good and save the world.
One thing I appreciate about Star Force is that the dialogue for basically every single NPC in the game changes whenever something happens in game. Yeti is throwing snowballs? yep everyone has something to say about it. Food eating contest? yep everyone has something to say about it

It's been like close to 20 years since I played X6, and I forgot just how much waiting/stalling there is that's baked into the level design.>waiting for garbage crushers to go back up in Metal Shark Player's stage>waiting for lasers to shoot your mirrors at Shield Sheldon's stage (why does there have to be a pause in between each laser shot and why can't the lasers just shoot forever [they don't even damage you, so there's no reason not to have them go forever]?)>waiting for ice balls to pass you on slopes or ice walls to fall down into holes or ice cubes into other holes so that you can get out of those holes in Blizzard Wolfang's stage (and it takes even longer if you decide to save any reploids)>Ground Scaravich's stage has an insane amount of Nightmares and floating debris just blocking your way designed to slow you down>the rising lava floor in Nightmare Mother's stage that forces you to slow down (you can't outpace it no matter how well you have memorized the level)Not to mention you're REVISITING these same shit levels if you want to 100% everything.It's such a poorly paced game. How can any of the level designers design these stages and then say "damn, that was fun, I'm sure our players will love these stages!" when playtesting them?Blazing Heatnix's stage often gets memed on, but at least you can destroy the donut minibosses in like a second so that you can speed through the level. Still not a very fun level though.
