I like the tougher multi enemy encounters but they really do make me see how annoying DD2's controls can be. There's too many little delays and stumbles that make dealing with multiple big enemies or crowds of smaller enemies really annoying. Cataract shot also seems pretty good, but I’m not a big fan of the loss of mobility. Beorcans on hard mode seem to zero in on my sorc arisen and ranger pawn, and not being able to move quick usually results in a knockdown after a few hits.

It also has extra large splashes for finishers, deathblow, slow-mo hits and even takes damage dealt into account.Tried to add a wound system so enemies can keep bleeding but I'm lacking necessary support and hooks from the game. I am not having fun with Warrior in this DLC. Enemies are strong enough now that you don't just instantly kill them and they don't really get stunned by your attacks but your also too goddamn slow in both startup and recovery so you're constantly getting hit by shit unless you take it really slow. Holy shit. Once you get this, there's no living without it. The charge time is basically instant. You do a normal attack and by the time its finished, it's fully charged. Its going to be really tough having to move to a better sword without this skill.

Lots of hit and run tactics, large monsters seem to have monster hunter stamina so more attack spam in general before they tire out.

I don't like how throughout doing Norgan you're encouraged to explore and find spoils and kill packs of enemies only for the endgame, where you get the best relics, is basically just doing waves of enemies and then fighting the final boss over and over againI would have much preferred if the ruin night in general populated the world and its chests with level 4-5 relics

When Ghouls in particular get introduced the game loves to spam HORDES of them while you are dealing with not just one boss type but two or three and they do a shitload of damage so moving quickly is heavily needed.

Alright from testing some of the Norgan relic skills, I have come up with a few things:>status skills ie knockout, chaotic, blighted strikevery good, high status chance, depending on status it's free damage or stun>BATTLE FRENZYThis is the fucking skill you want on every weapon. At level 5 gear you can roll battle Frenzy IV, which seems to be the highest possible, but the lower tiers also give a lot. The amount of extra damage that battle frenzy actually gives is not displayed in your stats, but it's really fucking insane. Testing with skull splitter against a norgan griffin, my skull splitter with battle frenzy IV did around 4x as much damage as withoutThe downside of course is you take way more damage with this skill, about as much as you deal, I was getting 1-2 shot by attacks>niche thingsthere is a skill you can get on weapons that heals you a small amount whenever you attack, depending on weapon type (slower weapons heal more per hit)Normally this skill is kinda meh, but there is a ring you can get as a drop that negates stamina cost for ALL weaponskills but constantly drains health while in combatI found that this ring paired with this skill basically negates the downside. Most useful on thief because you can just pop your auto-dodge skill and literally never die
