Hey guys. Really simple concept moving forward. The shorter your macro is, the more consistent it will feel. Sorc can 100% be macrod efficiently, you just have to know that certain skills like glacial smite have a super long animation (longer than 10 ms) that will make your macro feel sluggish and unresponsive and work around that. Also the more skills you have chained, the shorter your macro will be, and the more consistent it will feel. That's because when you hold down the macro button, it will constantly "scan" your macro chain from top to bottom based on the delays included. If you don't skill chain properly and have 8 abilities spread out across 8 different key binds, it will take 80 ms with default delays to scan through the entire macro. Instead if you divide those 8 skills across 2 skill chains, instead you only have two skill chains on your macro and it scans the entire thing for executable actions in only 20s. This makes it feel way better at getting back to available cool downs faster instead of feeling like it's not doing anything for a full half second sometimes

The 10ms value is the macro delay between attempts, not the skill’s animation duration. Almost every combat animation is longer than 10ms.The one thing I am changing from my setup is stacking Elemental Enhancement + Wish, because I’ve seen Wish occasionally get skipped as a standalone macro line. But based on actual testing, compressing the entire macro into stacks was not more consistent for me. It was actually the opposite in total casts/hits.
