So how'd you all like the event? Personally, most of my enjoyment came from imagining how Kazuradrop could've been implemented into CCC. That climax would've been so perfectly at home it may as well have been lifted straight from an original draft, which makes it a shame this game is where her story's been contained because of how grossly constrained it ultimately is. It almost makes me prefer how Kingprotea's been kept a relative mystery because if they can't receive the same level of attention as their sisters, why bother? Feels like a good idea gone to waste, though I do appreciate the ending restoring some of my hope however hopeless it may prove.The event story itself, I enjoyed even if mostly everything leading up to the climax was pretty barren. BB and her Alter Egos are lovely characters and always a joy to see. Foxtail? I hate how manga stretches stories into years/decades so I prefer to wait until it's finished, not that a Tamamo/Suzuka story especially interests me to begin with.

finished reading the main story of MahoyoI'll give a 7 out of 10, it is entertaining and amusing at times but boy, does it have pacing problemsthe beginning is kinda slow, then you have the action packed sequence of the amusement parkand afterwards is a very long slog right up to the finale with SonoG 1 hit KOing the werewolf and Aoko using magic. Those masters are lured by the promise of a fair fight they could win but the game is meant to be rigged so that the outsider masters are doomed to fail. Once all the outsiders are gone and their servants dead, the big 3 use their CS to make their servants commit suicide and the ritual can happen. Each time, something derails that plan, like an unpredictable servant or infighting among the 3 families, or an outside master bungling things. The 4th war, being an absolute clusterfuck, includes basically all 3 but ironically it's Kerry himself who fucks over the ritual at the very end.

The original Extra is painful because you need to grind and have no way to save inside dungeons outside of save states. But yes, the game is phenomenal. Kirsch (well Nasu by the time of Olympus) was already hinting at the Archetype's creation, which would also come from a new type of humanity he's trying to engineer there. We couldn't make much of this piece Kirsch was offering then but now it makes so much sense.It also reminded me and helped make sense of why Koyan was suddenly bringing up Kirschtaria at her section in OC3, which felt pretty out of the blue to me, like why is she bringing Kirsch now of all times but I can understand better why now. And Koyan did have some presence in Olympus too, it was her first Beast form reveal.Some pretty good catches/insights from re-reading these Olympus scenes, so gotta say bravo with the scene selection for this batch of recollections.

The Wasteland's bonfire is the place where we both initially meet and ultimately fight against Tezca (Mictlanpa his paradise or underworld of rest).Now I could see Kirsch knowing of the wasteland's Bonfire, it could have been a place he confered with Daybit and Tezca. How he would get records or insight on Londinium's demise is something that beats me thou, as much as Kirsch does have insight on the overall nature of the 6th Lostbelt, as something to be feared and which he correctly describes as a 'cursed' Lostbelt. But knowing of Londidium's demise imples he knows of Uther, Aesc and the events that led to the rise of High Queen Morgan within the Lostbelt. Not sure if it should connect logically or chronologically, or how/if he should have that record or insight. All that said he has records of hyphothetical singularities like Jerusalem, so who knows.
