Anyone that actually plays paper or advanced on DB think this is a reasonable build pre-support during the BETB format for this shit deck? I completely cut the Tour Guide package and maximized my Fiendsmith engine because the normal summon conflicts with Gallant, and I wanted to maximize my non-engine as much as possible without going over 42. I have 6 answers to Fuwa (Ash, Droll, Called By) if shot gunned, and if they wait to try and drop it on a special summon Gallant also functions as a Fuwa/Handtrap stopper.

The rebooted Yugi.dek gets another overframe. We're at 9 now, 10 if you count both Emissaries of Darkness copies.I was thinking they'd make a bridge between Dark Magician and ROLAD at some point, but a lot of these recent cards have been designed to be generic "yeah you could put this in your deck if you want" one ofs. I guess instead of trying to retrain all of Yugi's monsters into a functional archetype a la Shining Sarc or ROLAD, they're recreating the "pile of good cards" feeling of DM decks.Gandora-X getting an overframe is also the nail in the coffin for Shining Sarc being part of this deck. So that leaves the Gadgets and Marshmallon open for getting retrains too. On that note, AFAIK the remaining monsters that could get in are:- Dark Magician Girl (unless you count Curtain but there's no way they don't sell her twice)- Gaia (unless you count BLS)- Big Shield Gardna- the Poker Knights- the Magnet Warriors- Marshmallon- Watapon- SliferAnd backrow-wise Magic Cylinder, Swords of Revealing Light, Change of Heart, Mystical Refpanel, Pot of Greed, and maybe Fiend's Sanctuary have a shot of getting in as a random effect on a monster or some other card like Graceful Charity did on Celtic Mystic.
