You'll be able to get one team geared up super fast with first time drops in crusade, then you'll need to sweep a ton to craft future gear sets. Having characters sitting in your collection but not geared up won't help you much.So do whichever would help you finish your first team or if you did that already, then whichever would help you be ready to build up your second team. Both those eldynes are essentially mandatory for their personality, but if you're not trying to build Composed or Mad soon then there will be plenty of time to pull them randomly, get them in future personality banners, or maybe they'll start handing out tickets that include them like they have for the earlier released eldynes.

Snorky + Kidian is a great frontline but Xion won't do much to help them because she'll be shooting at the backline. Kidian's senior can be used as a finisher to kill of weakened backliners but otherwise they don't really help each other. Blanchet has a powerful senior that has a quick cooldown so you can pretty much spam it away and it turns into a serious nuke with Y2, also it silences enemies and her enhanced attack causes stinging which fucks with enemy healers. Slot Hilde back in if you start taking too much beating for Yomi and Joanne to handle.

The assassin phantoms were irritating to deal with, especially since my team isn't that strong and Composed struggles without Aya's Rune, but it's a good sign for once I finally get into Master Adept. Try triple frontline with 1 backrow to be a sarificial lamb at the start with 2 middle row characters spread out from each other. For Innocent it would be Joanne, Sherum, Vivi in the front, Naia and Gabia in the center, and Erpin in the back and put Gabia in front of Erpin since her job is also to die while your frontline kills everything and Naia heals. This strat works really well but the triple ghost combo is kinda fucked up so it doesn't always work in Viv or Mad.
