Would there be any interest in my mod I'll never make? It's called Private Property. You would paint the map with different lots that work like growing zones. It would act like a softer form of the vanilla zones and stop pawns from taking most jobs (configurable globally but not for each zone) inside the area unless they're assigned to it, but they can walk through if there's no other path or they're doing an allowed job. Pawns whose bed is inside the zone would be assigned to it automatically.
