I think the big thing not being said is that Tim won’t just choose to make Fortnite worse for the sake of it to use AI. He’s strongly pushing his employees to experiment with it to see what’s possible, but that doesn’t mean Fortnite will just be AI made without ensuring quality and cohesiveness is maintained to keep the game to the same standard we’ve come to expect. Case in point - they heavily discussed Fortnite being converted into being developed in UEFN and that never happened (presumably because it didn’t work). Tim wont kill his cash cow for the sake of AI, but as with any CEO, he needs to keep the company pushing forward. His poor choice of PR is a separate issue.
