The damage is good when you’re hitting a weak point, but if you’re not you might be better off doing a paralyzing blast and charging up Mystic Speargonne to snipe. You can also do a bit of support with a fully charged Mirror Shielde, which is similar to High Palladium now. I like to use the paralyzing blast to CC crowds of enemies (hit the blast button right after it lands on an enemy) and use a strong attack to do a finishing move; you can also use it to close the gap by hitting jump right after it hits an enemy. Take my advice with a grain of salt though, I play it like a sneaky sniper with melee options.

>>584482093Also, a fair bit of mystic spearhand attacks do more damage to enemies that you paralyze with your blast thingy, and you can charge it up while you attack. It’s probably not great for wrist/hand strain, but in theory you can charge and fire it rapidly in between skills/regular attacks. This is great for keep non-boss enemies paralyzed for a long time as you attack, but it gets annoying when you fight big single targets.
People that hate face 23 are fat and ugly IRL. They are triggered by regular human faces. It's like Frankenstein's monster smashing a mirror when he sees his face and murdering a child because he can't relate to actual people.

Is there ever any reason to have multiple elemental buffs on the same pawn? In my experience they just end up casting (for example) fire affinity then lightning affinity then back-and-forthing rather than doing anything else, yet I keep seeing pawns with multiple. Am I missing something, does a certain inclination fix the problem, or is it just the usual randoms making bad decisions?

I tried carrying on with my old save but so much has happened in the last 2.5 years on a personal level that it was jarring. Like carrying on from an old save in Skies of Arcadia on the DC. That's basically the optimal point if you do plan to progress through the main game by any significant amount.Then do the 9 basic Lost Rites. They are worth it.Then you're ready to do the DLC.Once you beat the DLC and activate its endgame, you can go back and finish the story and then activate its own endgame. Base game endgame now has extra content with the DLC and updates.Base game sidequests/content are basically optional besides anything related to Vocations and Maister Skills. You probably want to do all the Sphinx stuff too. Some quests do lead to unique vendors like the Coral Snakes stuff, but look that up if you have to.

Now that I'm seeing more interesting armor skills and rings, I've started taking less aggro-draw passives to see how much it matters. Right now, I haven't noticed a significant change from x3 (Provoking Aura, Provocation, and Ring of Disfavor) to x2 (Provocation and Ring of Disfavor) for the way I manage battles. Still playing around with just Provocation. It might be a tad easier to pull aggro off the tank with just one effect.
DD3 or next DLC should raise party count to six.
