The people most disappointed right now were overly invested in specific interpretations of theories or their character headcanons. The final shadow crystal boss is unsatisfying and just a repeat of an Undertale fight, which had to be remedied with a friend lore drop in a patch a month later instead of already being in the game in the first place. For being the chapter with the theme of love, Susie's relationship with Noelle just happens and it's left at that, there's no conflict, only Susie going on and on about Noelle this chapter to the point players have to theorize if she's lobotomized. Susie just isn't acting like herself this chapter, but we can't be sure if that's actually going to be a masterful intended flaw that gets touched on later or the writing and memories of anything that happened in ch4 suffering from putting all the effort on platforming. The game is so afraid of progressing the plot that it has to make Susie and Asgore act like idiots. Also the Sans scene was stupid.
