You simply can't make required endgame content challenging at all (as in, there being a chance of failing AT ALL) without there being intense gatekeeping. Because to most people this becomes homework, and they don't want to be held back from completing their homework by other people. Humans are self-serving by nature.That's why macro is a problem and a bandaid. It exists to help shitters hit the DPS checks of tranny dungeons, but it obviously doesn't help. Remove the macro and you can make the dungeons have no DPS checks or easier in general (even though they're already very easy...) and gatekeeping diminishes greatly. t. has played more KR MMOs for more time than (You)

The combat feels really good and the classes are all so fun. I made 4 characters to 1400 iLvl because I cant decide what to miss out. Chanter and Spiritmaster are also interesting but didnt find a spot on my roster. Sorc and Templar are my mains. Ranger and Ceric are my sidepieces. Damn does playing Dungeons on them feel fun. Templar truely feels like a Gunlancer, Sorc does so much Damage, Ranger is so mobile and with Cleric you have good control over the healthbars of your party on top of dealing awesome damage. Part if me regrets making 4 chars, I know I wouldnt feel burned out with 3, but arrows flying so fast is fun.

Posting again because I believe this is important for future socializationI am formally suggesting that we transition from having the guild hall as our hangout spot to here instead. Originally I had picked a corner in Safe Haven but some anons had some concerns with it and frankly I'm open to anything that isn't the Guild Hal so I'm changing the suggested area since its a lot prettier to look at. The hall is a flat white insane asylum with almost no objects to speak of and terrible lighting that gets accompanied by a piss yellow smog 80% of the time, there are no ways to manipulate the camera for photos and it alienates anyone who joins the server later that can't get into the guild. The hall also requires a separate scroll to visit and COMPLETELY stops you from seeing boss timers out in the world, it makes very little sense to be paying for and using it long term. And yes the idea did originate from the /trash/ thread, but that doesn't make it wrong. 4chan guilds historically have hangout spots in the game world that are separate from guild halls when they exist, this game shouldn't be any different and I just want to be hanging out in the actual world and get to see holiday decorations and other things. The Guild Hall feels like a sterile operating room in comparison and its just plain ugly.Thank you for your consideration
