I played on hard (hardest) difficulty for most of the game (99.9%) and even when skipping most normal mobs, barely opening any chests, getting some skill upgrades with the skill levels from defeating bosses, all enemies folded with the same combo (certain skill pattern use) spam, use healing item if needed and they die. Only exception is the final boss. I barely won against the 1st phase and Oh fuck you, the boss has a second phase and full heals himself and gets higher stats. Meanwhile I'm all out of potions (there's a max limit to the potions you can bring, max of 3 for the shit ones and max of 1 for the good ones), healing skills barely do shit compared to the damage output of the boss/mana consumption. Granted this is on a character that went full corruption (IDK if the heart icons and H status effects debuff me in combat) and barely fights trash mobs for exp. I just am so done at the game at that point that I switched to easy to beat the final boss second phase. Oh and after losing to the final boss at the second phase there's a checkpoint to start the fight at the second phase which is nice, but the game shouldn't be balanced on having to restart the fight when I cleared 99.9% enemies easily. (1)

Most early mobs are tentacle/slime types, the ningens scenes only happen at the midpoint/after finishing the game.The bad outweigh the good for me but it's not a complete kusoge. (2 and final)
