The final fight against Balor was actually super easy. I didnt even use any prayers. The amount of enemies was so low compared to like half of the gate fights that spammed reinforcements constantly. Unicorn overlord was very entertaining and I liked my time with it, though albion was such a slog I think it was sort of added as padding. Otherwise great. So i wanted to try another vanillaware strategy game and I picked up this piece of dogshit rts they made. My god this game was so slow and shallow and boring I had to drop it after 3 hours. Even forgiving the build queues because RTS, the combat takes forever and some of the missions are just [play for 20 minutes while nothing happens to win]. Even worse is how fucking stupid the AI is because units just dawdle or get themselves killed without your constant intervention.There really is nothing else in the strategy genre that plays as quickly, challenge driven, and responsively as fire emblem.
