If they're going to make the map this intricate then we should have more items or skills that provide some information to compensate. Knockdown in theory is a good item with both counterplay (good movement so you don't get raped when it triggers) and cc that plummets you to the ground and stuns you, but in current DL it's worthless to buy and if dispel was more restrictive nobody would still buy it because you can spend half the gold on slowing hex and disable more heroes for longer or just rape them with your team while they're slowed to begin with. I personally think we need more items like Stalker that give hero vision so you can get kills with better pathing or entrapping people since your team has vision on them and the onus is on the other guy to know the map well enough and have the awareness to where to go on demand (where his team is) because otherwise Haze or Drifter or whoever is good at raping you the moment you're unattended will just be snowballing every game when they can kill people largely risk free every minute

If you could reliably put multiple marks on people then Express could pop two at once for a big burst and it would be cool, but that requires them playing into it (unreliable) or using your flamethrower to apply a mark which is also not a good idea because you have to invest in it, be closer than you'd like to be early game, AND hit the backblast alongside having a mark from your missiles. If his gun were good then it would be a really good item for him but we're simply just not at that point in time and doing the whole gun invest spread shot express gimmick is such a waste of money for how little you're doing with it. Hell, go into your games and see how much you're doing with Express or even your charged shot as a whole. If you just flame them with Toxic I guarantee that you'll be doing more damage (especially late) plus the healcut is very useful at all points of the game.
