The super rancors really make me wish the stagger system was more lenient in this game. I thought it was fine for the base game but when this much shit is flying in the screen, it feels like it is way too easy to get staggered and it takes way too long after any stagger to get back in control.

Checked Steam's recent negative reviews, seems to be mostly people having crashes? Both on Nvidia and AMD. Works on my PC, so shrug. I don't dislike fast travel, I dislike that it gives devs license to turn every level design into dead ends and warping and point of no return. you get worse levels because getting out of something is an afterthought. I have the opposite take on ferrystones, I think if they're gonna let people use it, they should let them use it indoors. Having fast travel as an option either shows they didn't invest much time into normal traversal or level design, or a tendency to just bandaid fix things instead of addressing the underlying issues. It's still a flaw of the game.But in terms of what the solution is, that aspect is going to change depending on the player. People aren't wrong when they list the benefits of fast travel after all, but neither are the ones who argue the negatives either. That's why I always tend to lean towards a balanced game where the player has the freedom to choose how they approach progression.

Being able to switch to censor for free grimoire use chance is cute thoughIf only I could like mystic spearhand, I got brain damage at release constantly spamming the charged core skill to near perma-freeze bosses while my sorcerer pawn killed everything. I wish the core skill and shield didn't stop/slow stamina regen, it just incentivized me to not use fun skills, need a crude mod that just switches the core skill to thief dodge or something.

I spellhold Meteor and start the fight with Augural quick cast, Hagol quick cast wait a bit and let it rip when he does the curse so your Flare sticks. Use spellhold Meteor as he does the triple slam ideally on a fighter so he gets clipped by more meteors. You'll probably phase by then and sometimes even flare won't even damage him because of stupid scripting when he gets below x life.From there you just spellhold flare and use it when he's corporeal for a while since it won't stick if he phases. But I got only 4, I recall getting one at the start, one at the sage, other at the Modria Temple room just before the end and I can't recall the last one I got. But I am sure before killing the dragon I got 4, and Reunion quest didn't give me one as a reward.Did the game just jew me of a norgan portcrystal cause a bug?

The strength/magic etc boosting augments fall off quickly though since they just boost their respective stats by 30, and the defensive ones are usually considered better because they increase stuff by a percentage. If you need a discipline ring to cut down on the grinding and don’t want to hunt for seeker tokens, you can probably post a pawn request in the anchor and get one fairly quickly.
