Day 2 Coping After thinking about it maybe the violet stuff was a bit of an overreaction. >Is she the worst character ever added? Yes>Is her writing terrible dogshit? Yes>Is Deadlock ruined? No..but this was a good wake up call. I think the pre update hype was so big that everybody fell under Gabe's spell. That new map is so beautiful it the stage for an update that would be unparalleled. Valve could still make mistakes and that they aren't some untouchable Gods making the best game ever made. I certainly wasn't expecting the game's art direction and vision to already be at risk when we got such a massive win with the new map. I really wanted to believe that we were getting some never before seen pure soul. I think if Harrow is good it shows that they can still make a good setting appropriate character but there are still some bad eggs working there and the game isn't flawless as I thought.
