As far as I thought I knew, while you have an improved vocation turned on, you get bonus stats for the vocation in question when you level up, and, you only get these bonus stats for the individual level-ups you hit while having the Improved Vocation thing turned on. Today, I swapped my improved vocation on my Arisen, and I got some sort of notification saying that I would lose all my bonus stats accrued on the current improved vocation if I switched. I also noticed that my pawn is no longer getting any stats at all from leveling up. How the fuck does this system work

Infamous Loot Overhaul adds base game item drops to monsters that are tied to areas (so you won't get Battahl tier drops in Vermund), and with that you can earn items naturally just by adventuring. And then you can add Arisen NPC Outfits which gives you like 500+ equipment pieces ripped from the NPCs and spread around to the traveling merchants mostly, but more importantly ties unlocking special NPC outfits like Ulrika, Wilhelmina, etc to their affinity so there's an incentive to seek out their questlines.
Pawn leading you to a campsite during snow storm is a nice touch, feels cozy as hell…..unless you run into the black merchant I guess

Very annoying. Now you can, so getting a sit-animation to fit is a lot easier now. Previously you'd have to trial an error how high up and how far left/right you'd have to move them to make them reach their destination without overshooting it and falling off the ledge.Another limitation is also that you can't use it effectively in photomode. You can move characters around in photomode, but they have a tendency to becoming disjointed if you do. Eyes especially get all borked. So as long as you don't do a close-up of the face it's fine to move stuff in photomode. Also can't alter facial expressions in photomode.Though I think there are some mods that change that, which I intend on looking into soonâ„¢.

Today I learned you could just give Satan ring to your pawn and it still counts.
How viable is it to play this game with 2-3 Vocations? I feel like I'd get bored just focusing on one for the whole game. I get that you're meant to try others at least for a bit to unlock the useful augments, but I'm talking genuinely switching vocations every few hours of gameplay. I'm just torn between stuff like Thief, MSH and Warr, they all seem fun to me but I don't have the time these days to make a separate character for each of these like I would have in DD1.In the first game it wasn't really viable anyway due to the stat growths gimping you long term if you did this, from what I recall. At best you could sort of do a melee str char to play the thief/fighter/warr archetypes with and a magic char for Sorc, MA and MK.

It's kingdom hearts logic where everyone ends up the same place at max level but how they get there is completely different, a vocation might max their preferred stat at level 86, then need to reach level 446 to max their weakest stat. some vocations hit max early, i think warfarer does it at level 226.That said this game's endgame is mostly gear dependent. stats make early game completely different for everyone and the middle is where you more or less feel one vocation is your favorite one or not.
