Weight ratios matter a lot more because your defensive gear isn't tied to your costume but they scale up in stats with weight.Plus there's a bunch of ways to reset stats and personalized upgrade nodes, even if a lot of the offensive stat scaling isn't nearly as impactful. I also find myself messing with the non-customizable boss weapons more than the oodles of other customizable weapons because of the whole "i can't gauge attack ranges" problem I have.
