Man, I liked 3H despite the chores, but those were pretty minimal. Now we get FW where they spent so long developing chores for you to do they forgot to finish the game (what a coincidence that $40 DLC is motivating them to finish the game). I also liked how 3H toned down the fusion mechanics from Fates/Awakening, but then Engage reversed course there.I think this all comes back to PoR being on gamecube and then getting a cross-system sequel, then wasting the best selling handheld of all time on two deliberately ugly, weird remakes (kill all your units to see the new stuff? Great idea!). They then had to make FE wildly different because "people didn't like FE anymore", like with Zelda and botw after skyward sword used the most popular console to disgust people.
