I think the thing that makes me dislike her the most in terms of her characterization is how she feels more like a person that was isekai'd from our reality into deadlock's reality, resulting in this really cringy blend of feeling like a self insert and a character with no real direction.This game takes place in the 50's, yes there are alot of things in the game that feel "advanced" compared to that era but considering that the occult in this world is an actual everyday thing that people have to live with everyday, it becomes something easier to explain, what's not okay is to basically inject 2020 speak into this era, which is basically 90% of Violet's dialogue.She's extremely convoluted in all the ways, truth be told though, I find her gameplay really fun.
