They are adding tons of new quests, gear, items, zones, dungeons, consumes etc. Why are they incentivizing rushing to 60 for a Dec 9th raid release?Doing some napkin math, hitting level 60 by Dec 9th with a Nov 4th release date requires on average around 150-300 hours (6-12 days) let’s be generous and say it takes 200 hours to hit 60. That is almost 6 hours a day you need to play (5.7 to be exact) every day to reach 60 by December 9th. And that is not including the pre bis grind, grinding gold for gear/consumables, maxing professions etcCasuals/semi casuals make up the majority of the player base, how on earth is this even remotely accessible for them? I consider myself to be closer to a sweaty player who mainly cares about raiding and am still nervous about hitting 60 in time for Dec 9th. You may say, “just level slow bro the raids will be there forever there’s no rush”. but that is not accounting for social pressures of guilds and friends wanting to hit the raid on the first day looming over your head. Saying the raids will be their forever does not comfort players knowing your guild/friends/community is moving ahead without you. Wow forever is supposed to be an inclusive easily accessible game. Raids opening Dec 9th goes against all of that.Please push back the raids at least a few weeks to give players more breathing room to enjoy the journey and all of the new things you added to the game. You did so much work to make Wow forever a new and beautiful open world with so many exciting features, don’t ruin it by incentivizing players to skip all the new features because they have to streamline to 60 by griding 6 hours a day just to hit opening raids.
