L4D2 VR's current incarnation is fun, good around Halloween. There are some things that are bugged/unfinished though. There's supposed to be networked VRIK, but that apparently only works someitmes. No akimbo for dual pistols yet. I hope the chinaman in charge of it gets to fixing that.

Some anon who I won't mention by name somehow figured out I was the one anon that posted about the netori fetish and we had a long 20 minute argument about it to where he convinced me to move past it. I’ve looked into other communities because I can’t stand what /vrg/ has become, with 90% of the pre-groomed tourists who’ve flooded it via /trash/ over the past couple of years.
But for ssome reason other communities are somehow even worse! They’re so fragile that a single politically incorrect word is enough to get you dogpiled, denounced, and cast out. Of course, they decide what the incorrect word is, not you.
There’s no room for friction, no tolerance for anything that challenges their sensibilities. Everything has to be sanitized, everything carefully policed.
What frustrates me most is that I’ve reached a point where I can barely stand being in other vrc groups anymore. I can’t unsee the constant self-deception, the social posturing, the little lies people tell themselves and others to maintain whatever comfortable fiction they happen to live in. And the moment you point any of it out, you’re the problem. Not the dishonesty or the lies. Nope. Being confronted or open about that is the problem.

I hate that this has made me so incompatible with people outside of /vrg/, but I hate the alternative even more: pretending not to notice just to fit in.

I still hate what /vrg/ has become. I just haven’t found anywhere else that doesn’t make me feel even more alienated.

It's completely possible at this point if you've got the skill to fix certain issues. It's my understanding that several people here and on booth have already basically vibed a mesh into existence then retopoflow'd it back into the polygon land of the living. At that point it's mostly just dealing with/fixing weights which the ai an handle the first steps of. I believe it handles complex weighting as well as the geometry on things like hair horrendously though so it can be a lot of work to fix and also texturing it still kinda up in the air.
