What is up with Fallen Dragon at the big Rancor sometimes just being unkillable? Twice now his head, arms, wings were all cut and he had no bars left but you can't hurt him anymore. Pawns will also stop attacking.

What do you run your pawn as, and does it work well with your Arisens class? Capcom said they had updated the pawns to do more synchronized stuff in the summer patch. Played a bit around with it, but never really saw it. Tried going double archer for a bit in the DLC, but didn't really notice any sync stuff

Maybe Archer don't gel well with other stuff, Sorc/Mage seems cool because of the bolt at least

Prone to spontaneous combustion.
After some research I conclude that the Hearthwarm Anorak skills are very limited. At most you can get resilience or whatever it's called, the rest is generic boosts. I'd rather keep precipitate revival over fireproofing. Being on fire has its charm.

Straightforward Archer. I gave him Myriad and Cataract and he just shoots a lot of arrows. I think that giving archers more skills is a downgrade on most archers, maybe Calm would do better with special arrow kinds.

I mainly made her that because she was a Forager before but that Specialization is completely pointless in Norgan since you can't upgrade gear.
Logistician is pretty neat there because the pawn will automatically make dried stuff when the ingredients ripen and there are no materials that turn into worthless dogshit like salubrious draught, so they wont waste your stuff.
If you have another suggestion for Specializations I'm open to it. I was considering Orienteer but there are already a lot in the thread so it felt like a waste to make her one.

Yeah, that's pretty much it. The flipmo is good, and deal a lot of damage. Shotgun-shot is just more arrows, but it did great damage close on, and would prioritize it for gear
Gatling-shot I didn't care for. Slicing-wind arrow with an explosion was ok, didn't take long to fire, but might as well potshot with explosive instead. The mini-gatling shot I rarely if ever used, I'd rather full-draw
Cloudburst is cool, would been even more fun if we could use specialist arrows with it

But, I had fun with archer, and that's the important part

Started playing this week and the game is pretty kino. Quest for unlocking magick archer was ultra cancer and after playing it, it's kinda boring, but meister skill is retardedly strong, feels like it breaks the game.
I also have several questions, is "a new godsway" quest a point of no return? I found out in time that if I alter a world (whatever it means) I lose access to dlc, so I'm scared to progress main story.
The other question is how flashy is fighter? I kinda want to play as parry god, but I'm also a drooling retard who enjoys a pretty lights on the screen (which is why I was excited for MA).
And the last question is how to make mystic spearhand fun? The vocation feels really disjointed, the r1/rb button feels strange (I can't quite figure the timings to detonate it or to teleport to target). Well, the party shield feels really strong and telekinesis is fun, but it's not what I expected from the vocation.

I seriously need help because I'm starting to just give up on this game.
At what point am I actually supposed to take on Lost Rites and the DLC? Right now, I'm hardmode lvl 55 and haven't unmoored yet. Right now I'm struggling like fucking crazy in the remaining lost rites beating my head against a fucking wall, I've already had to give up on Embersand Mine and now I can't get past shit on Interminable Corridor. I've beaten Shrouded Warren, Sunken Spire, Devilkin Hollow, Daemon's Corral, yet the remaining others feel like such an absurd difficulty spike that I'm at a loss here.

You literally listed the most boring shit ability in archer's kit.
There's nothing more lame than just sitting in one place doing nothing while your all stamina eating ability charges. At least you have to time it with deathly arrow. At least you have to do multiple inputs and it makes stupid gatling gun shoot faster with torrent shot.
Core skills that let you kick and jump and shoot between enemies? Stomping on goblin heads? New skill eagle fucking arrow? No, that's boring, I'm gonna sit in place and charge my heavenly shot all day, heavenly shot ain't gonna charge itself, now that's what I call fun as my mouthbreather drool is dripping on the ground.

It's the same problem as Dark Arisen 1. Yeah, they added a whole bunch of new enemies and variants. That's cool and all, but they're all exclusively fought in the new area that's completely cut off from the base game roster so it doesn't matter or affect the variety at all.
Still, it's those same complaints that made pic related hilarious. Even when this game sucks I still like it.

The lockout is only for starting the DLC, not access. Get in there before the true point of no return (the game will tell you to rest) and you'll be able to ferrystone over at any time.

Bolt timing is after it hits the target, not when you fire it. The fun part is mobility and utility. Dragoun Foin and Skydragoun Feste for movement and evasion/counters, animation canceling with your charged bolts allows for more control.

No, game, it's very expectedly at this point. I can't fucking start the coronation quest because it crashes every fucking time I talk to Brandt.

Just started this, I'm about halfway through the base game and I'm not really sure about the vocations. Thief has been my main one, really strong and agile, feels fun to play but it does get boring with spin2win.
I tried Mystic Spearhand and maxed it because I thought it looks cool but I don't particularly find it fun to play, too flashy for not enough output and the attacks don't do what I want them to do half the time. Defensive stuff is cool but not really useful when everything is so easy so far (I am in the desert region) and it just feels bad compared to thief.
Tried Warrior next because I hear it's very strong but it seems quite bad vs anything but big enemies (of which there aren't enough of). Vs anything else like goblins, bandits, harpies etc you either miss half the time or the pawns kill them before you even get to attack. I will try and max it at least, but is this the Warr experience throughout or does it get any better?
Not sure there are any other classes I'd try, maybe fighter but for the bit I played it it just seemed like it's best left to pawns, unless it gets flashy fun moves later.

Warrior is great for bosses yes but against mobs, doing the well-timed default attack is enough. Struggles with fliers in my experience, but I do enjoy feeling like a captain telling my pawns to deal with the weaklings for me.
Thief is really fun outside of just Skul Splitter (though it's super reliable). Try getting into climbing build and see if that is more your style.

Can't help you much then if it's the specific Brant crash. As for the random crashes I had no problems since I've updated my Windows and AMD driver, before that it was a crash fest for me too.

Also try playing on stock GPU settings, no undervolt etc. I noticed my game was crashing really bad because I have power limit at 0%.
