What do you run your pawn as, and does it work well with your Arisens class? Capcom said they had updated the pawns to do more synchronized stuff in the summer patch. Played a bit around with it, but never really saw it. Started playing this week and the game is pretty kino. Quest for unlocking magick archer was ultra cancer and after playing it, it's kinda boring, but meister skill is retardedly strong, feels like it breaks the game.I also have several questions, is "a new godsway" quest a point of no return? I found out in time that if I alter a world (whatever it means) I lose access to dlc, so I'm scared to progress main story.The other question is how flashy is fighter? I seriously need help because I'm starting to just give up on this game. At what point am I actually supposed to take on Lost Rites and the DLC? Right now, I'm hardmode lvl 55 and haven't unmoored yet. Right now I'm struggling like fucking crazy in the remaining lost rites beating my head against a fucking wall, I've already had to give up on Embersand Mine and now I can't get past shit on Interminable Corridor. Just started this, I'm about halfway through the base game and I'm not really sure about the vocations. Thief has been my main one, really strong and agile, feels fun to play but it does get boring with spin2win.I tried Mystic Spearhand and maxed it because I thought it looks cool but I don't particularly find it fun to play, too flashy for not enough output and the attacks don't do what I want them to do half the time. Defensive stuff is cool but not really useful when everything is so easy so far (I am in the desert region) and it just feels bad compared to thief.Tried Warrior next because I hear it's very strong but it seems quite bad vs anything but big enemies (of which there aren't enough of). Vs anything else like goblins, bandits, harpies etc you either miss half the time or the pawns kill them before you even get to attack. I will try and max it at least, but is this the Warr experience throughout or does it get any better?Not sure there are any other classes I'd try, maybe fighter but for the bit I played it it just seemed like it's best left to pawns, unless it gets flashy fun moves later.
