Is it meta to just ignore professions/gathering until you hit 60 if you're just trying to hit max level asap? I was thinking of just getting blacksmithing for the early sharpening stone and then just ignoring it. Blacksmithing seems impossible to keep up to date unless you go out of your way and any gathering seems like it would be more efficient to wait until you either have a mount or are a really high level so mobs/ganks don't bother you while you're leveling it.
