That leaves Jagex with a needlessly over complicated game where they are stuck removing easy xp and mtx. So Jagex will have a contingency plan. My biggest issue isn't any of this "tainted" shit or whatever nonsense people are crying about. The MTX genie is out of the bottle, and a reset isn't going to fix that. The big reason RS3 is "dead" is because it fails to offer a unique product. RS's original niche was the ability to play it on the school library PC or your grandma's shitbox. It had low system requirements, and the gameplay boiled down to clicking stuff and waiting. It also only cost $5 versus the $15 WoW was demanding. Being cheap and accessible made it stupid popular.RS3 fails at all of that. RS3 tries to be some WoW wannabe with abilities, a "superhero chosen one saving the world" plot, AND TO TOP IT OFF, it now costs the same price as the big name competitors like FFXIV, WoW, and so on.

The real reason why reignited got cancelled is because all the new bots would have to go to reignited servers and when all the newfags leave after 2 weeks people will notice the huge difference between players and how many are actually bots.
