This is why the new midcore difficulty will fail.Normal mode content as it is features such bullshit as "Oh it's the exact same attack name but now you have to be out instead of in" and you're just supposed to know that not based on logic or common sense but bullshit trial and error that ISN'T consistent even within the same tier let alone the same sphere of content. Yeah ok, I'm shit at the game, I admit it. Guess what, most people are shit at the game. FFXIV encounter design is based around trial and error and making you replay the same thing over and over and over again until you learn "the dance", which for most people isn't what they consider very fun or fair. There's a reason why most players don't even bother doing alliance raids or normal raids, let alone running them weekly.
