Which sounds just like your average fare for vanilla but for shaman it really is compounded until you get storm strike after dealing with a spell pull and searing totem for 40 levels, and after that you still really only have storm strike as your dedicated weapon skill. We might be getting storm strike at level 25 now and maelstrom lightning bolts a bit later, but it's still might be a lot of the same besides the addition of fire nova, assuming that doesn't just rape the mana pool. 2H Enh without more work still looks like a meme to me, but I'm probably taking the bait regardless since enhance was my original main ages ago and hope I'm proven wrong between Maelstrom stacks and fire nova.

Priest is the biggest stand out with how many beliefs and shit it needs to cover just because every race has its own faith but some centralized gameplay priest class is what has to tie it all together, and the only real leeway it has are the class facials that suggest even the slightest nuance. Like Troll Druids are very clearly not Druid Druids, but to make them work in game you have to label them as such. Too many people fail to apply a separation from lore and gameplay though, but it's partially blizzards fault for trying too hard at times to bridge the gap because do that enough times and you get some really stupid stuff going on like the direction retail went.
