Always felt derivative, but in where was the influence, it lacked the spark of something BA had. It never truly felt like something that stood on its own or had anything unique to it. Even the arc progressions and conflicts in spite of the Bad Ends in the story.This changed.Yeah, with a Monolith too Far, even feeling those influences, it became something different. All those foreshadowings and crumbs of lore finally mattering, the Orphanage subplot SOLVED, Allie actually alive, the starter trio being delved, the trial and error to defeat Angie, an actual war and so on. Culminating in the now that we are exploring the past and finally learning of how the world truly is.Took an year, I borderline dropped this here and there and in some periods was just logging. But it paid off. I feel eager to see what's next, I wish to know more, to talk, to learn. I care now.
