I'm a bit of a newfag so I’m not sure how he compares to Rollo and Fellow but Skully definitely was getting a lot more attention and I feel like that's the case for Swing too. I know Nougat's design seems to be pretty polarizing across both the en and jp fandoms bht it also doesn't help that he’s mainly been portrayed as a scatter-brained, incompetent crybaby (unlike his Disney counterpart).
Compare that to:

Now that the event has wrapped up, I have to say I’m pretty disappointed with how Nougat was handled, he felt like wasted potential, especially when you remember that King Candy was such a compelling and terrifying villain (I still like him enough to save for his card next year). Trey however was the complete opposite, he really shined throughout the story and the way he manhandled Nugget was so hot.

I'mma have to reread it properly later but while I have the feeling that Sir Nugginton was a little anticlimactic, I also know that nothing can stop me from loving him so it doesn't really matter. I found Playfulland to be way more disappointing, personally, but back then I joined in on all the analysis and predictions and whatnot and what the fandom came up with ended up being way more interesting than what the event actually ended up being. I still love that long fox though.
So I avoided all discourse this time, buried myself in Nougat fanart and have no complaints because I kept myself from getting my own hopes up. Now I gotta go back and reread what everyone who wasn't Nugget was doing cause I was laser-focused on shotabug and didn't pay proper attention to Trey and Lilia recreating the events of a disney movie. Just saw the other day people talking about half the cast talks way too deep to be high schoolers in the dub. It's just a dub though, no use in expecting anything there anyway.
My only beef was how deep Jack goes in Diadem. It has always sounded so off to me, and then his VA said in an interview that it was actually his idea to go deeper than he'd been asked to, because he thought that Jack would want to sound super deep in a performance like that. I was gonna say that Idia and Nougat both being codependent on AI bots should be common ground for them but I guess Nougat himself is also kind of AI? Or at least not real? Noubug might've had the roughest experience. He never got a heart-to-heart "let's talk about our feelings" moment like every other guy. Jack's guy was pretty good this month. Usually he drives me lowkey insane because he gets nervous with unscripted stuff and just repeats 確かに all the time, giving his cohost nothing to work with. He gets better around guys he's comfortable with though, like Deuce's and Ruggie's guys, and they are both really good at impromptu stuff and knowledgeable about twst, so it balances out. Deuce's guy is always hilarious.
