Some real missed opportunities with armor/cloak variations in this DLC. Ilda and Jiera have recolors of the purple scarf and direwolf cloak. All of the armors with coats could really use a coatless variation. Everyone uses these and it makes everyone look the same because its a robe/coat that covers the entire body.

This thing is honestly pretty neat. It counts as facewear except it actually goes over your helmet/body armor. It actually has tons of neat interactions with armor, either disabling or going over various pieces of your neck armor when you put it on.

Not a big fan of the meme ring combo on pawns...For reds it means they don't have an aggro ring on, for any pawn it means the mage is constantly babysitting them / if it's Anodyne they're running back to it more than a normal pawn would. Rather they do their job better, I can resurrect them indefinitely if needed, they're pawns.Aggro ring, 40% debuff resist ring, stamina ring, fast cast ring.... equip anything but the meme combo for pawns, use them for yourself.

How do you deal with small enemies on thief? I'm early DLC and I feel it takes a bit too long, not sure if I'm using the right skills. Are normal melee attacks even worth it aside from stabbing fallen enemies to finish them off or damaging boss weak points?

The main character was an unlikable piece of shit, the plot was insane at times, also spoiler warning: he fucks up and turns into the dragon so you don't see most of the actual lore/plot behind Dragon's Dogma, it's just him and his pawn dicking around for a while in stupid ways and then rocks fall everyone dies type of ending.It's also got some genuinely insane moral lessons. Like, one knight who finds a treasure says it should be used to pay the widows and orphans of the soldiers that died trying to find it and somehow this corrupts him because of his insane greed, because he didn't give all of it to his lord. Or the protagonist concludes that selling an entire town into slavery at a mine is a good conclusion for the adventure because without being chained to work 24/7, some of them were doing drugs. Just the absolute most "What the fuck did they mean by this" moments, so I guess it's actually a decent watch if you just want that sort of cringekino.Oh and they replaced the Dragon's Dogma goblins with Goblin Slayer goblins. Because Goblin Slayer was big at that moment.

Meteoron/Maelstrom both take too long to cast, draw aggro like crazy, and most monsters move too much for Maelstrom to do any real damage. Chilling Embrace is fantastic though, it's CC and a big nuke rolled into one. It starts to fall off again near the end of the initial playthrough, but once you get battle frenzy it shoots right up into top tier crowd clearer again. Single target damage is also still pretty good with Augural Flare and Grand Brontide too. The only weakness that sorc has in endgame farming is that it's easy to knock around compared to warrior, and getting knocked out of a big channeled spell feels terrible compared to whiffing a warrior charged attack.

If you kill satanachia 444 times and the final kill is done WITHOUT any holy damage being involved at all (not from you or pawns), the ring turns into the Ring of Eternal Crusade (a ring of light) and it basically unlocks holy elemental rolls for lvl5 gear and you also have a small chance to roll a lvl6 piece of gear but it's just the same as lvl5 except with slightly better stats, the abilities and passives roll the same. It was previously thought lvl6 was cut content but nope, it's real. In-game it won't say lvl6, it's internally referred to as lvl6 though.

Infinite stamina thief tank pawn is maximum anime. I just wonder what to do when I get sick of immortality or when the immortality nerf comes, thief tank is pretty cool so I don't want to go back to fighter but running out of stamina is kind of a dealbreaker. Maybe calm pawns are still good at dodging when their stamina runs out?
