If you spent $500+ maxing out the newest character and couldn't get a good score that would feel bad. So instead they just throw buffs at you and chaos hands you perfect equipment every run and you can just pay to fix the cards later and get top 1000 while everyone else is still grinding runs. At least as casuals we're not really missing out on anything... yet
