It's taken me until now to get past chapter 4 in Deltarune when I started my newest playthrough a week after chapter 5 dropped.
It's been painful, and apathetic. I'm seeing all of the little "hints" towards Susie liking Noelle that I just blew off as her trying to be nice, or being uncomfortable at Noelle's awkwardness.
I've always seen the hints of Noelle and Kris holding deeply buried feelings for each other, but it's not much, and it's just as easy to dismiss them as platonic like I have with the suselle stuff.
I think chapter 5 genuinely killed my love for this game. I still have a bit of faith in Tobert to finish it with a good ending, and there are a few more hints at Kriselle in Chapter 5 to resupply my copium, but it doesn't mean I'm having a good time with the ride.
Although, the ending and beginning to chapter 4 still felt just as good as they always did. So at least there's that.

There's also part of me that kind of worries that I'll just get sick of chapter 1 and 2 with how many times I've replayed them. At least twice per chapter release means I've seen chapter 1 about 8-10 times now. I haven't even finished Undertale that many times.
