A 30 rounder would be fat and huge, there's a reason the 24 round mags are the largest available. The 24 rounder is already long enough as is anyway, it clips through the players arm. You really don't need more. The ak-308 is already the best .308 rifle in the game, it has very forgiving recoil even under full auto. Just work on your aim a bit and don't run shitty ammo.

i want to grind my heavy and light armor skills in PvE

I've thought about using grenades and killing myself over and over again and getting my broken armor back through insurance, but I don't remember if grenades even damage armor. I know that environmental explosives like gas tanks can hurt me and my armor and i think this is probably the better option, they typically don't kill me either. Anyone got ideas for grinding out these skills? I maxed out a bunch of stuff a long time ago, pic related, if you're curious about the best ways of grinding your life away, ask and I'll give you advice for saving your own time.

I definitely need to know how to grind Immunity, Search, and Mag Drills. As for Armor, I find that if I spend some time on Arena, I come back to like +40 points in whichever I spent my time wearing. If you need to do it in PvE specifically, use the explosive barrels in the Woods transfer area of Factory to fuck your armor up and then extract.

i tried grinding immunity but decided it was not worth my time cus the good stims for it are very expensive and even then it'll takes thousands of runs, maybe even bajlillion to get it anywhere.

My Attention, Perception, and Search all leveled up hand in hand together pretty fast so i'm not sure if this advice applies to search specifically, but I remember that it would give me a good amount of skill XP in one of those 3 skills whenever I would pick up the weapons of enemies I killed. You can only carry so much so i started to pick up and immediately drop everyones guns. You need to have an extra open weapon and pistol slot to really take advantage of this without fumbling in inventories moving your guns around. When I was deliberately grinding for Search, Perception and Attention I'd also go to factory over and over again and search and grab everything, even if I didn't want it. You get XP for picking up everything I'm pretty sure, not just guns, so it'd help you long term with your gains to pick everything up and dropkey the stuff you don't like so your inventory is clean and you can keep the stuff that you do want

As for mag drills, find the fastest loading magazines you can get, I think I used one different than this one but can't remember which one so for this example I'll use 15 rounder MP9 magazines from peacekeeper LL1. Ammo doesn't matter, probably use something cheap so in case you die while masturbating your magazines you don't lose much. What I would do when grinding my magdrills goes as follow: I start with my mags full of ammo from the hideout, making sure to keep that bit of empty space in the backpack so that the ammo has somewhere to go, then go to factory night and hope for a spawn either in the Courtyard, Gate 0, Gate 3, or by either one of the key extracts (don't forget your factory emergency extract key) and tuck myself into some corner/cover or behind a door.

Then I'd unload every magazine I took with me (Unloading is faster than reloading, I think I remember that reloading gives you more XP per bullet, but is less XP per second compared to unloading). Once everything was unloaded, I'd run into the extract zone and while I was extracting, I would begin reloading as much as I can in order to maximize the XP I got per raid. Note, theres a barter to recycle your 1 durability factory emergency exit key in case you want that, Jaegar wants 3 Iskras and 1 MRE for it, as well as the key itself. My current run through count is 954, A lot of that came from me running through factory doing this over and over again but I don't think all 954 of those are from this grinding session. If I remember right, by the time my mag drills was maxed out my run through count was at around 450-500. Be ready to speedrun factory around that many times if you want to take your mag drills from 0 to 51. I was mostly using tube loaded shotguns up until that point for literally everything and they don't give you any XP for mag drills when you reload them so I'm pretty sure i started at around 0 skill for mag drills at least less than 10. I had music playing quietly as i did my ~500 runs, hope to not run into tagilla and slow down your magazine gooning session.

For squad automatic fire needs? way better.
The RPK-16 is basically an AK-12 with a heavier, more durable barrel, but it actually fires a little slower, 700RPM compared to the AK-12's 750.
The 95 rounds drum mags, that are what actually make the RPK-16 and LMG, have trouble feeding the gun properly.
The RPL-20 solves all those problems, 800RPM, "pull-tab" reload makes it extremely quick to reload for a belt-fed, it can use both 100 round and 200 round belts with their own, semi-solid box mags.
it only weights 5 Kg unloaded with the short barrel, basically the lightest belt-fed LMG ever, open bolt means it doesn't jam, and it has so little recoil there are videos of soldiers firing it one handed like a pistol

Russia had never adopted a belt-fed 5.45 LMG until now, I have no idea why.
Maybe they believed they had hit gold with the PKM, since it's incredibly light for an LMG using a full sized, 7.62x54R cartridge, and didn't need one.
But now, fire rate, enemy supression and weight are king, and the RPL got the PKM beat on those.
They are also making the RPL-7, which is just the 7.62x39 version of the RPL-20, but as far as I can tell, it only has 85 rounds belts, which makes it worse than the RPL-20 for squad needs, but russian special forces absolutely love the 7.62x39, so it's probably for them.

I don't really agree with the premise, since the only thing that made me want to play Tarkov again at all was co-op PvE. I don't view the PvP as a challenge, but rather just as a random death that I'm not able to prevent in most raids, so I never get much done. I'm astonished that back in my old old wipe that I got to like 600m rubles using Veprs and Saigas loaded with PS Rounds and alternating AP Slugs/Flechette in 20 round drums.
I guess the other thing is that that euphoria definitely has come in the PvE experience when it comes to completing difficult things (for me) like the first time I managed to clear Reshala at dorms, actually beating Partizan when that fag jumps me in the middle of nowhere, or even the other day when Vegg and I went to Sawmill and just beat Shturman and the Lozersky brothers without it being about sniping and instead just going in (I literally never do that).
As far as I know, that euphoria of accomplishing something difficult just comes from what you personally consider tough. Hell, I still get a rush when I manage to clear the Raiders in the Bunker on Reserve after flipping the D2 switch because I'm likely to die once they get there.
