I like Sonic Superstars, the graphics and characters look great, I love the soundtrack, and the gameplay looks fun. Unfortunately, I can't enjoy it, because it's not made for me. It's made for people who hate most of the series, who insult its creators and developers, and who wish the series never went 3D and ended in 1997. I think I would have a great time with it, but I'm put off playing it because they didn't intend for it to be enjoyed by everyone, and my support for it would be misinterpreted as hatred for other games that I also like, ones they chose to pit it against. Instead of leaving this internal competition as forgotten shitposts from 20 years ago, they legitimized it and made it official. There is no valid reason why it should be a Classic Sonic game and not just a Sonic game that uses a classic inspired style.

But Shadow's death would become a motivation for her if she somehow ended up living through her illness, and she'd take extreme measures to reach her goal. That goal might be a world where experimental creatures like Shadow are allowed the chance to be happy. I can imagine Maria doing things that might count as terrorism in his name. It wouldn't change the fact that her soul is a good soul.

I restarted an area without saving to check something and noticed some cutscenes will just be skipped if you talk to characters in the wrong order. >>585895984I think the movies have some really solid, inspired moments which makes a lot of their decisions really bothersome. As for movie Sonic, I actually think he's fascinating. He is very much an example of Paramount not being confident in the Sonic brand. He's a living fossil from the era of 2000s "Cartoon animal goe sto the real world and attaches himself to some guy" genre of movies. Watching one of those actually continue and get increasingly fanservicey is interesting to follow. I think that aspect makes the movies more entertaining than their actual intended appeal. I don't think Movie Sonic is funny, I think he's probably the least funny character in his own series. I don't find him very cute either. But I do think he's interesting.. It's like if the 90s Super Mario Bros movie was somewhat successful and kept going until they started doing their own takes on Mario Galaxy.
