I'm confused, guys. I found a YouTube video claiming that the Sega Saturn version of Sonic Adventurevhad the working title of "Sonic 3D" and had the Special Stages that were later used in the Sonic 3D Blast port, so I looked into it further. Sonic Retro claims it's the working title of Sonic Jam instead, but I don't think that's right (unless thet meant Sonic World, which was basically a Saturn Adventure demo). Another developer (one interviewed by Sega Retro no less!) claims it's the working title of Sonic Saturn, the game we know little about except having that pool minigame. But their accounts seem to conflict. Or were there multiple games called "Sonic 3D" tentatively? This is Dust Hill all over again...Side-note, the game getting canceled because Yuji Naka disliked it means it was either a lot worse than Sonic X-Treme, or it was too close to what Sonic Team was trying to do with Sonic Adventure.
