I just finished campaign. Egghood needs to learn how to write properly Chapter 50 by itself was 6.5+ hours on auto. Chapters used be be like sub 1 hour. These chapters beat the super long anis idol arc in length which was like 3.5 hours. Nikke is so damn lazy with CG and reuses the old ones from other events like arc rangers. THERE IS SO MUCH DAMN expositioning IT'S CRAZY. THere was a time when Nayuta was just on the screen talking to the audience about her plan for 10 minutes straight! In fact, every time Nayuta is talking she's exposition dumping on what complicated plan she has in set. Almost every scene and plot moving element felt contrived and stupidly complicated, especially the fight scenes. After playing trickal for 2 weeks, I really notice how lazy nikke is with their story telling, other games have actual animated scenes and tons of CG of characters actually moving around and interacting with each other. Nikke has 2-3 sprites right next to each other with the same pose unrelated to the text and we have to use our own imagination for 24minute for fight scenes. Almost every single story sequence was around 24 minutes the length of an entire anime episode. I did enjoy the character interactions though like absolute and 4 beasts. The constant new immortality bullshit OP powers the queen has. It just got old fast when the queen fight scene was literally HOURS. The story makes it worse knowing everything could have been avoided if Levi/commander just let only one kill the queen. PEOPLE FUCKING DIED FOR THIS. The fights are all just straight up power level checks now. If Lillyweiss was this freakishly strong, why didn't she just jump into the space elevator and kill the queen herself? Why does everyone 1v1 the queen most of the time like they are db characters? Why do they have to add contrived asspull reasons that cloak users must fight alone. In fact almost every fight has asspull exposition on the "mechanics" of the fight immediately before and after.
So project Messiah is definitely some sort of clone project, but how come one of them was a woman and their personalities were so different? I guess to activate the Queen Gene successfully they wanted to test out different combinations? I'm also confused as to why N7 was in the hospital with Maria, but the other clones weren't. The event is actually more interesting than the main story kek
